Performing a special demolition intended as dismantling and decontamination of the building “historian” former tobacco factory FINTAB located in the historic centre of Città di Castello.
The building constructed in the period 1920-1930 with reinforced concrete masonry technology mixed with structural type “great lights” and significant permanent overloads consisting of all drying equipment, tobacco processing and packaging.
Disassembly and reclamation phases:

  • dismantling of all industrial equipment
  • remediation of asbestos structures
  • remediation of polluting parts
  • Separation of reuse materials (glass, carta, plastic, steel, wood, aluminum, etc..)

the execution of the demolition was permitted only with the use of latest generation hydraulic machines which made it possible to dismantle the building in structural continuity with the adjacent Cenacle dating back to the late Middle Ages and part of the complex of the Monumental Church of San Domenico.

ADVANTAGES DERIVING FROM THE USE OF HYDRAULIC TECHNOLOGIES
